Personal Assistant / Administrative Support
- Full time temporary contract
- Exciting and innovative government department
- Varied and diverse role
This temporary contract will see you reporting to the Senior management as Personal Assistant and Admin support officer. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the day to day operations of the department. The role will provide high-level executive management support to the Senior Manager and is a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government, private, public and community services sectors.
The successful candidate MUST meet the following criteria in their application to be considered for this opportunity:
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role as a personal assistant / senior administration officer
• Advanced skills using MS Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Extensive experience creating agendas and taking minutes for committee meetings
• Extensive experience in diary management and travel arrangements
• Records management experience
• Preparation of correspondence, reports and data
• Highly professional phone manner with advanced written and verbal communication skills
It is preferential that the successful candidate will have experience in working within the public sector
